Seven Hawks Galler, 27, of North Third Street, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 11, 2008.
He was born Sept. 7, 1980, in Olympia, Wash., a son of Ann Marie McManus of Meriden and Galen Lee Galler of Tucson, Ariz. Seven Hawks; a true warrior; loyal, devoted, loving to his family and friends, who had a gentle spirit. He was employed as a forklift operator for Fosdick Corp. in Wallingford.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his only brother, Ganusquah McManus of Meriden; his paternal grandfather, Gerald Galler of Washington; and Aunt Bunny Day of the Tobique First Nation in Canada; as well as many family at the Tobique First Nation in Canada and in Bridgeport and Waterbury. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Alfred McManus Sr.
Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, on Wednesday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. A service will be held at 8 p.m. Seven Hawks will be laid to rest at the Tobique First Nation Tribal Cemetery in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, Canada.
